NBHS Band Formation

The New Boston High School Military Stride With Pride Marching Band prides itself in being one of the longest active military bands in the state of Texas. Marching in the traditional 6-to-5 marching style, they have competed in a variety of venues and competitions. As a band, they have received superior ratings and exceptional awards for 29 consecutive years. They had the honor of being the 1997 TMEA 3A Honor Band. The band has competed at the State Marching Contest multiple times, winning the Bronze Medal in 2007, finishing 6th in 2008 and 8th is 2017. Rooted in tradition, the band is constantly working to maintain and improve both the spirit of the community and their reputation as a whole.
