My name is Mrs. Crystal Pommer, RN, BSN, CPhT and I am eager to bring my 16 years of expertise in the medical field to my hometown community. I graduated from New Boston High School in 2003. In 2008, I graduated from Texarkana College with a degree in general studies and an Associate Degree in Nursing. In 2010, I graduated from A&M University Texarkana with my Bachelor in Nursing. I have held many hats in my nursing career with the most being in the acute care setting. Over my 16 year career,  I have experience as a pediatric home health nurse, charge nurse, staff nurse with team nursing approach, travel nurse, community outreach liaison, program director, clinical director, and school nurse.  I’ve supervised and educated all members of the medical team and I’m proven to be a successful leader.  I take great pride in the work that I do. I can sincerely say that my dedication to my students’ success will be my main focus. My passion to teach my community and youth shows I truly care for our students future, community, and fellow faculty. I was recognized in my first year as the District Nurse for NBISD for going above and beyond for our students, for setting high standards. I’m excited to share the love I have for the medical world with our students. Thank you for trusting in me to help guide our kiddos to success.
